Merkinch Community Centre provides a service to all ages and stages in society. We also see the importance of specialist services for people with learning disabilities. Since the ‘demise of the day centres’ people with LD are looking for things to do in the community, but particularly want to meet up with their friends and have a purposeful shared time together. MCC have created a number of opportunities which they can access.
